Unique and beautiful wordpress themes
Ever since I started doing this blog, I have been searching each and every link I thought was interesting just to find the perfect wordpress template. If you are like me, who has almost zero knowledge in CSS or HTML, finding the perfect template is the best thing to do. Otherwise, you will be spending countless hours trying to figure out just what the heck <div>, <li>, and the others mean. Let alone, trying to bend the template to your will! (Like changing colors and nav bars, etc.) Or spend thousands to have someone customize it for you.
If you are looking for templates that are unique, cute, artistic, interesting or just plain pretty, and if you think my template is cool, check out the following, you might just find what you are looking for. Best of all it’s FREE?!
100 Excellent Free Wordpress Themes
http://www.smashingmagazine.com’s list last year’s and some of the links don’t work anymore or the author has stopped making the theme available for download. But there are still a number that are available. What I found to be most useful is to search out the link to the author, because they usually have other themes that are more interesting or available for free.
45 Excellent Free Wordpress Themes
I used to pass up short lists thinking it won’t give me a good selection. This time, http://dzineblog.com’s list, is really a shortlist! It gives you the best in a wide range of themes from artistic, zen, colorful, monochromes.
And, if you are in the mood for a good treasure hunt, check out these pages.
191 pages of FREE wordpress themes!
http://www.freewpblogthemes.com is really a free wordpress theme site. They also offer premium themes for those who want one-of-a-kind themes. Not all are that good though, but there are more than a few that are quite outstanding.
59 Pages of Free wordpress themes
http://wordpressthemesforfree.com lists down some very unique themes, a lot I haven’t seen in the other lists, so this is a good one to look into as well.
However, if you are using blogger platform, don’t despair, google whatever templates you like and you may just be in luck that some good samaritan has converted that to a blogger theme.
If you didn’t find what you like, there are literally thousands of other sites to look at, but it can get a bit overwhelming. It’s a lot better to use keywords such as, beautiful and excellent when searching for templates and eventually you will find what you are looking for.
Do you have your favorite sites? It would be great if you can you share yours.
Happy hunting!
