Heima Store is the home of the new homey
Homey, cozy and comfy are words most would describe their perfect homes. At Heima Store, they have dared to define Heimish as the new homey.

Soft music from this cool CD player, soft lighting from this yummy lamp, a good book on a rainy night... what could be cozier?
As soon as you enter their sweet smelling shop (courtesy of their subtly fragrant room sprays) you will be struck how their ecclectic collection seems to just make sense. Even when each item seems to belong to a different genre, from vintage, traditional, pop art, everything seems to play off on each other and even look quite good together.
Unlike most stores where styles are so easily evident to the point of being boring, Heima’s is simply a fresh alternative to all things you will find in a mall. Heima Store is the marriage of Martha Stewart’s sensibilities and Andy Warhol’s pop art vibe.

Bored with just a plain wall and couldn't afford the real thing? Why not a chandelier decal for your wall. The Cory poster is also a must have.
It has successfully merged these iconic styles and produced edgy graphic accent pieces that are softened around the edges, while perfect-weekend-at-the-Hamptons furniture are given just the right character and oomph to save it from the curse of being forgetable.
Maybe this easy transition stems the collaboration of two original thinkers, Interior Designer Rossy Anne Yabut and Marketing professional Bong Rojales, she takes care of the “Home” and him the “Lifestyle” part.
According to Rossy, Heima takes its inspiration from tiny English shops which are full to the brim and where you can literally spend hours just looking around. From the looks of it, they are right on track, with every corner brings you to a more interesting piece than the one before. Nothing generic here, and pieces can be commissioned and customized to suit one’s personality and taste.
As I came across this quote I am struck how real it is as I was in Heima:
A perfect day at Eothen: Andy Warhol once said: “beauty really has to do with the way a person carries it off. When you see ‘beauty,’ it has to do with the place, with what they’re wearing, what they’re standing next to …”
Now wouldn’t it be just perfect if life can be just as perfectly imperfect and our homes to be just as beautiful, just because that’s where we’re…

P.S. If you can still see the beauty of Heima through the haze of my Jurassic camera, you know it’s definitely worth the trip to the avant garde land of Cubao X! See you there! …
